Der Lindenkorpus des Instruments ist mit glänzendem Lack überzogen. Der geschraubte Hals und das Griffbrett aus kanadischem Ahorn wurden vor dem Zusammenbau wärmebehandelt, um das Holz stabiler zu machen und ihm das Aussehen und die Ausstrahlung eines Halses/Griffbretts zu verleihen, das jahrelang gespielt wurde.
